Lagrangian approach to mean-field electrodynamics for arbitrary magnetic Reynolds numbers
Abstract
Expressions for the generation and effective diffusion coefficients of a mean magnetic field are obtained in terms of the Lagrangian shift characteristics of two liquid particles in turbulent flow. The expressions are valid for arbitrary conductivity and reduce to the known results in the limiting cases of very large and very small magnetic Reynolds numbers.
