A series of solar proton events from an active region observed during July 1985 on Prognoz 10-Intercosmos and Vega-1, 2.
Abstract
Preliminary results on the study of four solar proton events observed by spacecraft distributed by about 60 deg in terms of azimuth are presented. It is shown that all the events have the same reliably identified source: the 4671-72 active-region complex; the events of July 17 and 20 occurred 4 and 7 days after this complex passed beyond the limb.
