On the Propagation of Lower Hybrid Solitary Waves

A simple formalism for the lower hybrid solitary waves propagating almost perpendicular to the magnetic field is developed. It is found that for such a wave, usual K-dV type soliton solutions may be obtained when the plasma exhibits a non-Maxwellian distribution functions.
