Structure of pulsed aurorae in the day-time sector and their morphological characteristics.
Abstract
An analysis is made of the structure and dynamics of precipitation regions responsible for the formation of pulsating auroras. The investigation of auroral pulsations in the daytime sector showed the presence of an auroral intensity trough between an intense red aurora zone (due to soft electron precipitations) and a region of hard electron precipitations.
