Grassmannian KaluzaKlein theory
Abstract
An effort is made to analyze the general structure of Grassmanian KaluzaKlein theory for a wider class of theories than those considered by Ross (1981) by removing the restrictions he imposed on the commutation relations of basis vectors in the bundle. The coordinates for the extra dimensions are taken to be anticommuting. An attempt is also made to show how this approach relates to the work of Delbourgo et al. (1988), and in particular to see whether or not the metric ansatz in their work is consistent with the higherdimensional field equations.
