Analysis of combined photometric and polarimetric observations of T Tauri stars
Abstract
Observations of T Tauri stars performed during 1979-1985 are analyzed, and the characteristics of brightness and polarization variability are interpreted on the basis of a hydromagnetic model. The variability of the polarization parameters is interpreted as being due to the effect of the variable magnetic field of the star. The value of the dipole field of the star for the case of a spherical envelope is determined.
