Absolute spectrophotometry of the nuclear region of the Halley Comet carried out in December 1985.
Abstract
The absolute spectrophotometric observations of the nuclear region of the Halley Comet were carried out in December 6 - 8, 1985 at the Crimean Observatory. They covered the spectral region 3725 - 5975 Å with resolution of about 30 Å. The mass of the emitted gas evaluated is found to be equal to 1.3×109g.
