The nonstationary photogravitational two-body problem in terms of the Gulden-Meshcherskii-Jeans problem
Abstract
It is demonstrated that the equations of motion of the unperturbed nonstationary photogravitational two-body problem can be reduced to the Gulden-Meshcherskii-Jeans equations. This interpretation makes it possible to apply Meshcherskii's coordinate-time transformations to the equations, which reduces the nonstationary nonperturbed photogravitational problem to the stationary one in the presence of two perturbing forces, thrust force and centrifugal force. The proposed theory is applied to interplanetary micrometeoroid particles subject to degradation under the effect of cosmic factors, conditioning the nonstationarity of the problem.
