The programme "Milky Way" : the physical and kinematical investigation of galactic structures.

The program Milky Way for a complex study of the structure, kinematics, and evolution of the Galaxy is outlined. In the framework of the program, new astrometric and astrophysical observations are carried out. Preliminary results concerning the structure of regions of star formation, the motions and the structure of the local spiral arm, and the dependence of the kinematic parameters of stellar groups on the distance from the Galactic plane are presented.
