Sensitivity of small scale MHD turbulence to velocity-magnetic field correlations
Abstract
Numerical simulations of two-dimensional incompressible MHD turbulence were carried out via direct integration of MHD equations. Periodic boundary conditions were used to stress the internal dynamics instead of effects due to special geometries. In all computations, initial kinetic and magnetic energies were comparable.
