An implicit scheme for unsteady compressible NavierStokes equations
Abstract
In this paper a time accurate scheme for unsteady NavierStokes equations is presented. This scheme employs, as unknowns, quantities of order of square of time spacing, thus making a delta squareform of which the right hand side is a numerical approximation of unsteady governing equations. This algorithm makes a scheme especially suitable for accurate simulations. A shock tube flow is calculated as an example. The flow is assumed laminar, and shock waveboundary layer interaction is simulated.
