Magnetic field and emission lines of the close binary system β Lyr.
A variable effective magnetic field with the mean value -1200±50 Gauss is discovered. Evidence of gas streams reflecting the magnetic field structure of the bright component is given. A new variability in the Hα line is found. Unusual wide wings (to ±70 Å) under the strong emission peak Hα are revealed.
