Observation parameters for a ground-based radar station to survey near-earth satellites
Abstract
Parameters of observation were defined for a ground-based radar station aiming at the survey of noncooperative objects in the near-Earth space. The parameters are quantitatively illustrated by satellite orbits. The examples are chosen in such a way that upper limits for the corresponding observation parameters are deduced, leading to requirements for radar equipment. The parameters are used for the quality control of radar data.
