Synthesis of compound multiphase signals
Abstract
A method for the synthesis of multiphase signals is developed which provides for the prescribed properties of the mutual ambiguity function (MAF) on the ambiguity plane. Using this approach, a weight-processing filter was designed for a compound multiphase signal with N = 400 positions; this filter made it possible to reduce the MAF sidelobe level in the free domain down to -40 dB.
