Nonlinear stage of the development of the high-frequency instability of electromagnetic waves in a beam/magnetoplasma system
Abstract
An analysis is made of the resonant nonlinear three-wave interaction of two counterpropagating electromagnetic waves and a beam weave with negative energy having an intermediate frequency in a magentoplasma layer. The nonlinear boundary value problem for the wave amplitudes is solved. Numerical results are presented for the ionospheric plasma.
