Chaoticity and intruder states for 147Gd and 115In
Abstract
The number variance is calculated for the energy spectra of 147Gd and 11In, which have been previously calculated in a particle-core coupling model, eventually including the intruder states (1 particle-1 hole excitations across the major closed shell at N=82 or Z=50, respectively). The inclusion of intruder states leads to an increase of the degree of chaoticity.
