Chiral Lagrangians and Their Applications to Low Energy Physics.

Effective meson Lagrangians based upon chiral symmetry are applied to various low energy processes. Extensions from the meson Lagrangian of strong interaction are made to include additional physics such as electromagnetic interaction and weak interaction. Through detailed study of their phenomenological indication and limitations, the deficiencies and possible improvement are discussed.
