Direct observation of Abrikosov vortices in a single crystal of the high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O(x)
Abstract
The dispersed-ferromagnetic-particle technique was used to investigate the magnetic structure in YBa2Cu3O(x) single crystal,. Patterns are obtained of magnetic-flux distribution with resolution of Abrikosov vortices whose series are predominantly oriented along twin boundaries. Data on vortex anisotropy and on the distance between vortices are analyzed.
