Exchange Current Due to RhoMeson Exchange
Abstract
Electromagnetic exchange current due to onerhomeson exchange isstudied by keeping the terms up to the second order of the inverse ofnucleon mass. The relativistic Hamiltonian is reduced to thenonrelativistic form by the Foldy transformation, and the rhomesondegree of freedom is eliminated from the Hamiltonian by the unitarytransformation. As a result, the exchange charge density operator ofthe first order of the inverse of nucleon mass is obtained. Theresultant nuclear currents are shown to satisfy the continuity equation.
