Crossing of Rotational Bands in Even-Mass Tin Isotopes
Abstract
An angular momentum projection method is applied to the rotational states of even-mass tin isotopes. It is found that the alignment of two neutrons in h_{11/2} orbit explains the recently observed discontinuity in the moment of inertia of the rotational band in (112) Sn.
