Abstract
In an address presented to the National Technical Meeting of the Institute of Navigation in January 1988, the USAF plans for providing space launch capabilities through 1995 are outlined. The recent history of launches is reviewed. Plans for the ML VII medium launch vehicle, the Titan 34D, Titan II, Titan IV, Delta II, the Atlas, the Scout, and the Shuttle are given. Changes in the launch center infrastructure and plans for the DoD to facilitate commercial launches are considered.
