Mode spectral structure of pulsed radiation from a copper-vapor laser
Abstract
It is shown experimentally and theoretically that a contrast spectral structure of the longitudinal modes is formed in high-gain pulsed copper-vapor lasers. The decisive factors in the formation of this structure are a continuous increase in gain at the beginning of the pulse and the gain-saturation effect.
