Some comments on the extension of band models to include scattering
Abstract
A description is given of the rationale and procedures involved in the extension of band modeling to include the effects of scattering. The procedure is more straightforward in the case of regular models (e.g., Elsasser) than in the case of random models. The approach in the latter case is outlined. Examples of results for particular cases are presented.
