Construction of a normal terrestrial gravitational field allowing the integration of satellite equations of motion
Abstract
A normal field is constructed which allows integration of the differential equations of satellite motion in quadratures. In the equatorial plane this field coincides with the gravitational field of the earth represented by a body that is symmetric with respect to the axis and the plane of the equator. Near the equatorial plane, the force function of the constructed field precisely includes the second zonal harmonic and approximately includes the higherorder zonal harmonics.
