Josephson effect in layered superconductors
Abstract
The dependence of supercurrent on the phase difference between layers is determined in the context of microscopic theory for layered superconductors with Josephson layer interaction. The effect of the nonsinusoidal nature of supercurrent on the electorodynamics of Josephson systems is examined with particular reference to the Josephson vortex structure and the volt-ampere characteristic.
