Electromagnetic wave scattering by a perfectly conducting cylinder of arbitrary cross section at a plane interface between two media
Abstract
The paper is concerned with the two-dimensional problem of determining the current induced by an H-polarized wave on the surface of an ideally conducting cylinder of arbitrary cross section. The cylinder is located at a plane interface between two homogeneous half-spaces with different properties, with the generatrices of the cylinder parallel to the interface. An integral equation for the unknown current is formulated, and a method is presented for the numerical solution of the equation.
