An algorithm for the estimation of motion parameters in problems with nonsimulated acceleration
Abstract
An approach to the solution of the problem of motion parameter estimation is proposed whereby the estimation problem is approximated, with any desired accuracy, by a generalized linear impulse correction problem of high dimensionality. The latter is solved by using a version of the simplex method, as proposed in an earlier study (Bakhshiian, 1988). The internal problem in this case, however, has an elementary solution, in contrast to the approach of Bakhshiian, where multiple solution of the internal problem is required.
