Quasi-two-day fluctuations observed in the summer F region electron maximum
Abstract
Quasi-two-day fluctuations (QTDFs) in the summer F-region maximum are studied in detail. These are probably generated by analogous QTDFs in the meteor wind field. Two possible mechanisms for the action of dynamic processes in the meteor field on the electron concentration distribution in the F region are discussed.
