Transition probabilities for Fe II infrared lines.
Abstract
Transition probabilities are calculated for the lowest four terms of Fe(+) in a 12configuration basis. The construction of the eigenfunctions is shown. The use of infrared line ratios for determining electron temperature and density is briefly discussed.
