Radiation characteristics of corner dipole antennas
Abstract
The waveguide theory of dipole antennas is used to analyze the electrical characteristics of a cylindrical corner dipole antenna as a function of the branch radius, the inclination angle between branches, and the distance between feed points. It is shown that antennas of this type may be used for spaceborne studies of the plasmaspheres of Mars, Venus, and the earth.
