New wide-band transducer developed
Abstract
A new layered piezoelectric ring transmission transducer was developed. The wideband principle and structure design of the layered ring are analyzed. The properties of the device, such as low frequency, wide band and horizontal non-directivity, are given. The results can be applied to the design of layered underwater sound and ultrasonic projectors with cylindrical piezoelectric ceramic rings.
