Inverse scattering problem for three-dimensional plasma wave equation
Abstract
A three-dimensional plasma equation is reduced to a one-dimensional coupled mode equation, and the Gel'fand-Levitan equation is then written for the coupled mode equation. The scattering data required for the potential reconstruction are obtained from the reflected field on the backward plane of the scatterer. Details of the reconstruction procedure are presented.
