UHE photons in cosmic rays
Abstract
The arrival directions of high energy gamma-rays registered by the Tien Shan extensive air shower (EAS) experiment have been compared with COS B observations. There are no coincidences between the arrival directions of the gamma-rays registered by Tien Shan experiment and the position of COS B gamma sources. An analysis of Monte Carlo simulations suggests that the arrival directions of Tien Shan gamma-ray initiated air showers are not uniformly distributed. There are some indications that the large galactic latitudes are more probable as a position of arrival directions of ultra high energy (UHE) gamma-rays.
