System of Astronomical Constants in Hindu Astronomy

Astronomical constants such as the length of the solar year, sidereal and synodic periods of revolutions of the Moon and five brighter planets have been computed using the system of astronomy in ancient and mediaeval India and a comparison made with their modern values.
