From receiver operating characteristic to system operating characteristic - Evaluation of a large scale surveillance system
Abstract
The application of the multitarget tracking technique in combination with a Markov chain model to the evaluation of a large-scale surveillance system is addressed. A track initiation procedure using a composite logic suitable for a high data rate sensor is considered. The target track detection probability in the absence or in the presence of false alarm is evaluated, as is the flat track probability in the absence or in the presence of targets.
