Dimensionality and time of the transition process during a crisis-type transition in chaos
Abstract
A relationship is established between attractor dimensionality and the time of the transition process during a crisis-type transition in dynamic chaos. This relationship can be used as a basis for computing the mean characteristics of metastable chaos and determining attractor dimensionality experimentally. An illustrative example is presented.
