A new approach to the solution of problems in radiative heat transfer
Abstract
A new method for calculating heat transfer is proposed which uses a system of integral equations of heat transfer in local polar coordinates at each point of the surface. The system is reduced to algebraic form using the interpolationquadrature method. The kernels of the integral equations have no singularities or fast change regions, which makes the method robust and highly accurate for any surface geometry. A generalization of the method to a system of surfaces with mirrordiffuse reflection is presented.
