Bench mark numerical problems
Abstract
This paper presents three problems in the study of two-phase flow. The first problem is steady faucet flow - liquid flow in a vertical column. The analytical solution is compared to the numerical solution. The second problem is the oscillating manometer. The analytical solution is compared with a typical numerical solution. The final problem presented is injection of subcooled water into a superheated steam. There is no analytical solution for this problem.
