Electron excitations and luminescence of Y1Ba2Cu3O7 superconducting metal-dielectric ceramics
Abstract
The paper reports the observation of luminescence and nonradiative transitions with defect generation for superconducting metal-dielectric systems in which a wide forbidden-energy band is situated above the nearly filled valence band. Results are presented for the example of Y1Ba2Cu3O7. At a temperature of 10 K, a 3.355-eV luminescence is observed which may involve the participation of a bihole Bose condensate.
