Superconductivity in (BEDT-TTF) 3Cl 22H 2O
Abstract
The metal-semiconductor transition of a novel organic conductor, (BEDT-TTF) 3Cl 22H 2O (BEDT-TTF: bis(ethylenedithio) tetra- thiafulvalene), which occurs around 100 K, is gradually suppressed by pressure. Under the pressure of 16 kbar a superconducting state appears at 2 K. The pressure dependence of the resistivity and the preliminary measurements of the critical field are reported.
