Magnetospheric electric fields and currents.

With special, but not exclusive, emphasis on contributions made by scientists within the United States, the authors review scientific progress made in understanding the character and operation of macroscopic, earth magnetospheric electric fields and electric currents within the time frame 1983 to 1986, inclusive. The emphasis is on the interior regions of the magnetosphere and on the boundary region results that emphasize connection to the interior regions.
