We present a systematic analysis of various exotic sources (composite, technicolour, non-linear gauged σ and E6 superstring-inspired models) for the Drell-Yan processes at the Tevatron and the SSC. We show that light composite bosons can be easily differentiated from others by studying the lepton pair distribution and/or the forward-backward asymmetry. For heavy bosons of mass equal to 1 TeV, E6 bosons are the only ones which remain true resonances. Spin-zero and spin-two heavy composite bosons have characteristics distributions. The effects of contact interactions for a value of the compositeness scale of 1 TeV are important at the SSC collider.Supported in part by the DRCI of the CNRS (France-USA programme: AI 95.03.12).
