Measurement of the Tau Lifetime at SQRT.S = 10.5 GEV.

Using a high statistics sample of tau -pair events collected with the CLEO detector at the CESR e^+e^- collider, we have measured tau_{ tau} = (3.25 +/- 0.14 +/- 0.18) times 10^{-13} seconds. The experimental method for determining the lifetime includes both the reconstruction of decay vertices and the impact parameter technique.
