Impurity Enhancement of Superconductivity.
Abstract
The enhancement of superconductivity by a small concentration of negative-U center impurities is studied by a new method which combines diagrammatic perturbation theory with monte carlo simulation. The centers are either excitonic or local phonon type. Results are given which show how the impurity parameters should be selected in order to obtain the maximum increase in the superconducting transition temperature T_{c}.
