A YBa2Cu3O(x) SQUID operating at temperatures from 4 to 77 K
Abstract
The development of a SQUID on the basis of YBa2Cu3O(x) ceramic is reported. The dependence of the SQUID resonance circuit voltage on pump current for temperatures of 77 and 4 K is investigated along with the amplitude of the voltage modulation on the resonance circuit as a function of the direct current through the coupling coil at a temperature of 4.2 K and different pump currents. The fact that this SQUID operates with macroscopic weak coupling indicates that the YBa2Cu3O(x) ceramic itself evidently has Josephson properties.
