Measurement of the energy gap in YBa2Cu3O(9-delta) according to the IR absorption spectrum
Abstract
The long-wave IR absorption spectrum of the high-temperature superconducting ceramic YBa2Cu3O(9-delta) was measured on the basis of the bolometric effect. The energy gap of this compound was determined according to the absorption threshold and was found to amount to 2Delta/kTc = 0.6.
