Fiber Raman soliton laser pumped by a Nd:YAG laser
Abstract
A fiber Raman laser was pumped with a continuous-wave mode-locked Nd:YAG laser operating at 1319 nm, and pulses as short as 160 fsec were generated by using soliton pulse-shaping in the fiber. In addition, a completely integrated oscillator loop was constructed by using a fiber-optic coupler and fusion splicing.
