A comparison of paleointensity determinations from magnetization of stone meteorites of different types.
Data are presented on the determination of the strength of the paleomagnetic field H on the basis of the magnetization of different types of stony meteorites: achondrites, ordinary L and H chondrites, and enstatic and carbonaceous chondrites. It is suggested that data on variations of H for each type of meteorite can be used to form hypotheses about the nature of the magnetic field of the protoplanetary nebula and the origin of meteorites.
