Variations of solar X-ray fluxes during active region evolution.
Abstract
The relation between non-flare X-ray fluxes in the ranges 0.1 - 0.8 and 0.8 - 2 nm for different active regions was investigated from the data obtained with Solrad 9. From statistical data processing the above fluxes are found to be related by a power law. On the basis of numerical simulation of a static coronal loop the observed interdependence between fluxes is shown to be associated with pressure variations at the base of emitting coronal loops located in the upper atmosphere, followed by brightness variations of calcium plages.
