Highresolution study of the b ^{1}Σ^{+}X ^{3}Σ^{} emission system of ^{80}SeO
Abstract
The b 0 ^{+} X_{2} 1 and b 0 ^{+} X_{1} 0 ^{+} subsystems of Seo were excited in a chemiluminescent reaction involving metastable O _{2}( ^{1}∆_{g}) molecules. Highresolution emission spectra were recorded with a Bomem interferometer. Rotational analyses were carried out for four bands of ^{80}SeO, viz., 00, 11, 01, and 12. The following equilibrium constants were obtained: bO ^{+}, , B _{e} = 0.4571873(7) cm^{1}, , α _{e} = 0.0037059(9), , cm^{1}, , r _{e} = 1.663325(1) Åx _{2}1, , B _{e} = 0.4706269(5) cm^{1}, , α _{e} = 0.0032737(6), , cm^{1}, , r _{e} = 1.639403(1) Å, W _{e} = 915.59 cm^{1}, , W _{e}X _{e} = 4.56 cm^{1}X _{1}0 ^{+} B _{e} = 0.47048 12(5) cm^{1}, , α _{e} = 0.0032764(6), , cm^{1}, r _{e} = 1.639657( 1) Å, w.=915.10 cm^{1}, , W _{e}X _{e} = 4.57 cm^{1}, where the error limits are 3σ. From the analysis of the line intensities the ratio of the parallel and perpendicular transition moments, {μ _{0}}/{μ _{1}} = 1.42 _{6} was derived.
